Welcome to sootha. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of shopsootha.com and any purchase you make from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are
This website is operated by sootha ("we", "us", "our"), a business based in Queensland, Australia. You can reach us at soothateam@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to purchase from us.

3. Our products
We sell spinning ("fidget") rings designed as wellness accessories. We display our products and colours as accurately as we can, but slight variation between your screen and the actual item is normal. Materials and finishes are described honestly on each product page. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We may update prices, products, and availability at any time.

4. Wellness disclaimer (please read)
sootha rings are designed to give your hands a calming, grounding thing to do. They are a wellness accessory only — not a medical device — and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent anxiety or any other condition. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice or care. If you are struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a qualified health professional.

5. Orders
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We'll send an order confirmation, but a contract is only formed once we accept and dispatch your order. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, there's a pricing or description error, or we suspect fraud — and if we've already charged you, we'll refund you in full.

6. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers. By providing payment details, you confirm you're authorised to use that payment method.

7. Shipping and returns
Delivery is covered in our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds in our Returns & Refund Policy. Both form part of these Terms.

8. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under that law.

9. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including our name, logo, text, images, and designs — belongs to sootha or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.

11. Third-party links
Our website may link to other sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, sootha is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Where our liability can't be excluded but can be limited, it's limited to resupplying the product or paying the cost of resupply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown above. Continuing to use our website means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
